The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department is well-equipped with all the required equipments and machines to conduct practical programmes as stipulated in the Curriculum. The Students are motivated to learn all the intricacies of practical subjects and also made to think analytically.
Electrical Engineering includes Electrical Machines, Power Electronics and Drives, Power Plant Engineering, Control Systems, Measurements and Instrumentation, Power System Analysis and High Voltage Engineering.
Our department has organized a one day seminar on 31st August 2012 on the topic �Electric Power Utility in the Industry�. Thiru P.Sundaram, Additional General Manager (Electical), Chettinad Cement, Karur was the Chief Guest. He explained the importance of electrical power utility, monitoring and control in various industrialunits of our state.
On 4th March 2013, students have been taken to CAPE Electric Private Limited for an Industrial Visit. They enjoyed a lot during this trip.
Our EEE department had celebrated Association function ELECSPIRE'14 on 26/02/2014.Our Students learn lot of new technologies.
